Special features
Due to the short stroke, only a little lubricant gets into the area of the sealing edge and the guide elements. A lubricating film is not built up.
- The sealing takes place statically, as it were; thus one can dispense with a secondary seal without limiting functionality. Operational safety is ensured with the additional sealing edge of the PT1 double wiper.
- The sealing material PTFE GM201 (PTFE glass MoS2 compound) used here has favourable sliding characteristics and behaves neutrally vis-à-vis the counterface.
- The patented GUIVEXgeometry of the guide strips improves the entry of the lubricant.
Only a slight span can be realised bewtween the guide strips due to the mostly compact construction of the cylinders. A relatively large angular offset can arise here.
- With the use of the OMS-SR main seal, large seal gaps can be realised.
- The increased stress in the edge area of the guide strip usually accompanied by a heavy angular offset is avoided with the patented GUIVEX geometry.
The operating pressure is maintained a few minutes.
- Via the solid support edge in the PTFE profile ring of the OMS-SR, the torsion stability is increased and thus favourable wear behaviour is achieved.
